OAKWOOD, VA (OCTOBER 27, 2020) – The Appalachian College of Pharmacy will offer a free Flu Shot Clinic, Saturday, October 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The clinic will be offered at the ACP trailer in the college parking lot.
Appalachian College of Pharmacy’s student chapters of the National Community Pharmacy Association (NCPA) and the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) are partnering with Frannie Minton, from Appalachian Family Care, LLC, to provide the community with the free flu shots.
Social distancing will be practiced. No appointment is necessary.
Free flu shots are also available at ACP’s Mountain Care Center on Tuesday and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Appalachian College of Pharmacy is the only three-year Doctor of Pharmacy program in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Founded in 2003, the college accepted its first students in 2005.
