CPhT Program
Apply to the Certified Pharmacy Technician Program
Applicants who wish to apply for admission to Appalachian College of Pharmacy’s Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) program are required to submit an application through ACP’s application portal. The process also includes requesting of official high school transcript / GED certificate proving the award of a high school diploma or GED equivalency.

Application Deadlines for Spring 2025
The deadline to submit a completed application is December 12, 2024.
Complete and submit the application which includes the following:
- Personal, Contact and Demographic Information
- Employment History
- Photo Id
- Current and Past Academic History
- Official high school transcript / GED certificate
Prerequisite Academic Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) program, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Applicants must be 18-years or older
- Applicants must have earned a high school diploma or GED and must be proficient in the English language
- Applicants will be expected to undergo a criminal background check. Applicants must have a clean criminal record with no felonies
